In spring, you’ll play as our hardwood forest swells with greenery; on sultry summer days, cool lake breezes will rustle the leaves; in fall, the surrounding birch, maple and oaks flame with color.

Pheasant Ridge specializes in golf groups and tournaments of all sizes. Our two function facilities boast a seating of over 400 people. Contigiani’s Catering, famous throughout New England for over 35 years, provides a variety of menu choices, sure to please your group.

The resort course design offers wide manicured fairways, strategically placed bunkers and soft velvet bent grass greens. After your round, you can enjoy a lunch and your favorite beverage in our full service lounge and grill.

For a longer visit consider our stay and play condos adjacent to the first tee. These luxury condos can sleep up to six adults and feature a modern kitchen, cable TV, and air conditioning.

After your round, enjoy an outdoor lunch on the deck of our clubhouse, where you can watch the cog railway puff its way up the rugged slopes of Mt. Washington.

Play is fairly straightforward and somewhat shorter than the average (2000 yards for 9 holes–in 1897, with hickory clubs and leather balls, it was a lot further!) Many of the original hazards from that era remain and despite modern equipment they often make play much more strategic than the yardage suggests.

Six of the nine holes are par 4s, the rest par 3s with only the first hole having a water hazard. It’s an excellent course to play if you looking to introduce someone else to golf, you want to play a quick round on a “real” course in an exotic location, you want to practice your own game in a non-threatening environment, or you just want to have fun (our director of golf added the phrase “and fun” to his title for a reason!)
